Axial flow fans and centrifugal fans are two different products in the fan category, with their main functions being to ventilate and exchange air in the environment. If you don't know the difference between axial flow fans and centrifugal fans, blindly and hastily selecting the wrong product will definitely not achieve the expected results. So, how to distinguish and choose between axial flow fans and centrifugal fans?
、 The appearance and shape are different: the appearance of axial fans is basically cylindrical, while the appearance of centrifugal fans is snail shaped.
、 The exhaust direction is different: the exhaust direction of the axial fan is straight along the axis, the inlet and outlet of the fan are parallel to the same axis, and the exhaust direction of the centrifugal fan is perpendicular to the inlet direction, which can achieve 360 degree specified direction exhaust.
、 The difficulty of installation varies: The installation of axial fans is relatively simple, usually installed directly on the wall or connected to the air duct. The installation of centrifugal fans is quite complex.
、 The difference between air volume and air pressure: Axial flow fans have higher air volume and lower air pressure, while centrifugal fans have higher air volume and air pressure. If there are many bends in the pipeline, the exhaust and supply distances are relatively long, and the pipeline resistance is high, centrifugal fans must be used.
、 The connection method of the motor of the fan is different: the motor of the axial flow fan is generally connected inside the body of the fan, while the motor of the centrifugal fan is connected by the shaft and is generally placed outside the fan exhaust duct.
